Easter

We had so much fun this Easter. My girls are experienced egg hunters after going to three Easter Egg hunts this year. Thanks to the girls great hunting ability we have all gained a few pounds from all the candy!

Hunting eggs at our house on Easter Sunday. Mom was sick but we still enjoyed a great Easter Sunday.

Coloring Eggs :

The girls are getting bigger and enjoyed watching the eggs turn colors. I think they where both quite disappointed when their beautiful color candy looking Easter Eggs didn't taste like the expected.

Brighton Ward and Corder Family Easter Egg hunt:

If you want to see an Easter explosion come to the Corder Family/ Brighton Ward Easter party. The girls had a blast! They had several activities for the kids and a an enormous egg hunt.

Last, but not least, my friend Holly has an Easter Egg Hunt play date at her house. We ate a yummy lunch then hunted for eggs on her 5 acres!

We are so thankful for Easter and this time of the year we have to remember Christ and his atoning sacrifice he made for us to repent of our sins and live forever together.

Lion King

We took the girls to The Lion King on Broadway. I quickly bought the tickets after seeing a great deal online and after it was final I got really worried. I read later that the play was 2 hours and 45 minutes long and was recommended for kids 4 and older! (Aubry is 2 and Joni 4.) I was like, "What have I done!!" We rented the movie from the Library and I made the girls watch it at least three times a week. Luckily, after a week they started to learn the songs and love the movie. We decided to make the trip to Lansing, Michigan and see what was going to happen. Well, they loved it. Aubry hardly moved the entire time and Joni got a little hungry and had to use the bathroom at intermission but after did great!!! I was even tired of sitting but I can't believe how much they enjoyed it. After they closed the curtain Aubry started to Cry! It was funny. Everyone around thought she and Joni where so cute. It has been over a month and they are still playing "Simba and Scar."

This picture was after the show. Joni was upset because she didn't get to go meet all the characters like when we go to the community plays here in Michigan.
