Shooting

Since we are having another girl Ryan has decided to do what my dad did and indoctrinate "the outdoors" into his daughters. The girls actually loved shooting and it was good to teach them gun safety since we have a few in our house. Thanks Grandpa for letting us use your cute little 22.

After one of Joni's first shots..."Awesome!"

Having Fun at RCIS

We love to go shopping at Grandma and Grandpa Tebb's store at Red Canyon. It was fun to go visit all my grandparents and family in Panguitch.

Ryan never ceases to suprise me! He makes us all laugh.

Halloween 2009

We spent Halloween in Delta with Ryan's family. The kids had a lot of fun and really loved their costumes this year...
Super Hero's!!
We really wanted them to be something besides their usual every day dress up, "Princesses!" To get them in the "Super Hero" mind set we told them super hero stories about "Brave Cat Woman...(who in our book is good) and Strong Wonder Woman!" They have not stopped saving the lost dog and asking if they will ever really be able to fly.
We had a great Halloween.

Aubry's 3rd Birthday

Happy Birthday Aubry! We love you so much. You are so funny and love making us laugh. We are so thankful for your fun personality and squishy kisses!

Aubry had a great Birthday. No party for the odd years but we went to Chucky Cheese and she had a blast! She is also really good to share all her presents with her sister Joni. She even let her open a few...lets hope the kindness continues!!

Joni's First day of School

Joni's first day of Pre-K. She loves to go to school and her new teachers Mrs. Jennifer and Mr. Eric. Aubry was so sad everyday when she left... until their was an opening in the three year old class for Aubry! Now she gets to go too and really loves being a "Big Kid." Their classroom are right next to each other which makes it fun for them:)

Easter

We had so much fun this Easter. My girls are experienced egg hunters after going to three Easter Egg hunts this year. Thanks to the girls great hunting ability we have all gained a few pounds from all the candy!

Hunting eggs at our house on Easter Sunday. Mom was sick but we still enjoyed a great Easter Sunday.

Coloring Eggs :

The girls are getting bigger and enjoyed watching the eggs turn colors. I think they where both quite disappointed when their beautiful color candy looking Easter Eggs didn't taste like the expected.

Brighton Ward and Corder Family Easter Egg hunt:

If you want to see an Easter explosion come to the Corder Family/ Brighton Ward Easter party. The girls had a blast! They had several activities for the kids and a an enormous egg hunt.

Last, but not least, my friend Holly has an Easter Egg Hunt play date at her house. We ate a yummy lunch then hunted for eggs on her 5 acres!

We are so thankful for Easter and this time of the year we have to remember Christ and his atoning sacrifice he made for us to repent of our sins and live forever together.

Lion King

We took the girls to The Lion King on Broadway. I quickly bought the tickets after seeing a great deal online and after it was final I got really worried. I read later that the play was 2 hours and 45 minutes long and was recommended for kids 4 and older! (Aubry is 2 and Joni 4.) I was like, "What have I done!!" We rented the movie from the Library and I made the girls watch it at least three times a week. Luckily, after a week they started to learn the songs and love the movie. We decided to make the trip to Lansing, Michigan and see what was going to happen. Well, they loved it. Aubry hardly moved the entire time and Joni got a little hungry and had to use the bathroom at intermission but after did great!!! I was even tired of sitting but I can't believe how much they enjoyed it. After they closed the curtain Aubry started to Cry! It was funny. Everyone around thought she and Joni where so cute. It has been over a month and they are still playing "Simba and Scar."

This picture was after the show. Joni was upset because she didn't get to go meet all the characters like when we go to the community plays here in Michigan.
