Our Trip to Utah

Our trip to Utah was good and bad. We started it with the flu. Diarrhea and throw-up consumed most of our time the first week. However, the next week was great. Ryan was able to visit several hospitals and make some great contacts. Most hospitals want him to come back in the Spring for an offical hospital. Moving back to Utah is looking better than we thought...however we don't want to get our hopes up. It was so fun to see everyone. Joni loved all the cousins. Almost every time we get in the car she wants to go to the airport to see her cousins. Joni and Aubry also loved getting spoiled by their grandparents and great grandparents. We had a great time!

Grand Haven, Michigan

With Ryan only having three days off last month we made a quick trip to Grand Haven, Michigan. It was so beautiful and is only two hours from our house. We loved the white sand beach and pretty big waves. The water was 60 and as clear as glass. We spent several hours playing in the sand and waves. Joni and Aubry had so much fun and really wanted to get in despite the temperature. It was a warm day but really windy. We also took our neighbor Chrissy with us. She is a great help and basically a part of our family. Michigan is a beautiful state. I wish we had more money and time to really enjoy it while we are here.

Pumpkin Express

On our way home from Grand Haven we stopped in the little town of Cooperville and rode the Pumpkin Express. It was really fun. They had actors and actresses doing little skits about every 10 minutes and singing songs with the kids. Joni and Aubry thought they were really funny and loved their costumes.
